Opening Ceremony

6.30-10pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday

 

Here big kids and little kids get to play. Perfume Gardens behind the Old Courthouse is home to a Chinese Pagoda from our sister city Changsu in China. Come get totally WOW-ed by the Lion Dancers and the Lanterns presented by the Townsville Chinese Club. And if that’s not enough you can control the colour of the giant light boxes with an iPad and float in the clouds.

- Tours -

Hey, grab your sneakers! Guided Tours depart from the Old Courthouse Theatre c/o Stokes and Sturt Street half hourly across the three nights. While on tour you will be able to chat with the artists at each site to find out more about how they made the artwork or what they love about making art. So don’t be shy!

- LUX food trucks -

Street Food and Karaoke! All that walking will make you thirsty and hungry. Grab a bite and a seat at LUX EATS in the Federation Place parking lot where you can get fed by Sun’s Chinese Dumplings, Gozleme and The Coffee Tree.
